There is indeed no argument about taste - or about "getting it right". This is evident in the fact that we, as guitarists, are now, and have been and always will be, searching for "our" sound.

The tone that you can't quite manage to get out of your guitar; whether it's that extra bit of sustain, or a tighter bass, or a woody rhythm sound, or just that you are not cutting through in the mix. Everyone is different, but all opinions are valid when it comes to your sound.

 

 It is through the work Monty's has done with musicians on this very problem over the past 10 years that Monty's Pickups was born.

We are very proud of the range of pickups we have created. We are constantly testing, tweaking and doing lots and lots of listening, trying new as well as traditional methods. If we don't achieve a better pickup, then it's  back to the drawing board we go.
